We make bespoke designed handcrafted wood products, from greenwood furniture, garden structures, cleft rustic gates, Oak planters, to traditional and contemporary Yurts. Our products are made from UK grown timber, that are predominantly sourced from Devon, Cornish and Sussex woodlands. We avoid using imported timber or tropical hardwoods.
We work closely with Garden design companies and directly with customers to turn ideas and concepts into the crafted finished form.
Bespoke Oak Planters
Our handcrafted large Oak planters are uniquely styled using combination of cleft and sawn wood. The side infills are made from woven Oak slats and the inside is fully lined. The frame cross pieces are scribed and tenoned into the corner posts to provide a robust structure. Our Oak planters can be finished with a protective oil or can be left untreated to weather to a silvery grey.
As shown in the feature image of the triple bay Oak planter, an end can include a custom angle to fit specific requirements of your garden shape.
Cleft Rustic Gates
Our Cleft wood gates are handcrafted using naturally durable wood. The wood in these gates are split along the grain instead of sawing. Each single or pair of double gates are unique, with careful selection of mirror cleft wood for symmetry in the rails. Our attention to detail is carried through in the finish for each gate.
A single field gate can be combined with a pedestrian gate to create an alternative to an equal pair of double gates. We also make wooden latches and throwover latch accessories.

Bespoke Cleft Fencing
Rustic post and rail fencing can be designed in a variety of styles and sizes. Wonky cleft paling was used in the design shown in the photo below on the left. On the right, we created a miniature post and rail fence to border a pond and flower beds on sloped ground. In this design the middle two rails flow from one bay to the next, framed by the top and bottom rails.
